Game Asset Pipeline overview
End-to-end workflow for ingesting, processing, and deploying game assets — art, audio, animations, and shaders — from creative production into the game engine. The creative director approves final assets from artists and composers, which are then exported in engine-compatible formats and validated against technical budgets (poly count, texture atlas size, audio bitrate). Automated import scripts run validation checks and flag regressions. Approved assets are committed to the asset repository and versioned alongside code, ensuring consistent builds across platforms.
