tooling, processes, and culture -- deploying cost visibility tooling with
multi-cloud support and configuring cost explorer dashboards for each
stakeholder tier, designing and implementing the mandatory resource tagging
strategy with enforcement automation, creating cost allocation hierarchies
that map cloud resources to business units, products, and environments,
establishing showback and chargeback processes with appropriate allocation
models for shared services, defining FinOps RACI across engineering,
finance, and leadership, building anomaly detection baselines from
historical spend patterns, creating training materials and conducting
workshops to build cost awareness across engineering teams, and defining the
FinOps maturity model with crawl-walk-run milestones. Produces FinOps
operating model document, tagging policy, tooling architecture, training
curriculum, and maturity assessment framework. Excludes financial system
integration.
