Event Operations Planning overview

Plans and coordinates sports event operations -- developing venue setup timelines with load-in/load-out schedules, coordinating security staffing plans against crowd capacity models, planning broadcast infrastructure and camera placement, managing ticketing system capacity testing, orchestrating vendor and sponsor activation logistics, and building contingency plans for weather, crowd, and medical emergency scenarios. Produces event operations runbooks, resource allocation matrices, and post-event debrief reports. Excludes athlete competition management.
