Construction BIM Coordination overview

Coordinates Building Information Modeling across disciplines -- merging architectural, structural, and MEP models into a federated BIM, running automated clash detection to identify spatial conflicts between trades, assigning clash resolutions to responsible subcontractors, tracking RFI generation from unresolved clashes, and validating LOD (Level of Development) compliance at each project milestone. Produces federated model snapshots, clash reports with resolution status, and IFC export packages for general contractor review. Excludes initial design authoring.
