Bug Triage
description
Daily or near-daily process for reviewing newly filed bug reports and assigning them
appropriate priority, severity, and ownership. An on-call engineer or designated triage
role reviews incoming issues, reproduces critical bugs, and escalates blockers to the
relevant team. Each bug is tagged with severity, component label, and estimated effort
before being placed in the appropriate sprint or backlog queue. The workflow prevents
critical bugs from going unnoticed while ensuring the team's roadmap commitments are
not derailed by lower-priority noise.
